Probably my last Generoso for this season. No regrets, the Monte Generoso is probably the climb I mostly hate. Very hostyle, long straights and very few turns, 11km always between 8% and 10% for 40 min. of pure torture. Even FELICE GIMONDI after finishing second in the 16th stage of the 1974 Giro d‘Italia said that the “… il Generoso non é stato affatto generoso”. Photo Antonello Tabarelli de Fatis
