ornamentodinamico

I have been designing jewellery since I was a child. In the 1970s and 80s I would see my mother graced with incredible jewels created by architects, designers and painters – jewels more like small wearable sculptures or structures than the more usual rich and boring bourgeois items. Some I still jealously keep.Creating and giving simple and minimal shape to white gold or silver has always been a passion, at first as a game – and now with «ornamentodinamico» (Dynamic Ornament) it has become a first series collection designed for superleggero. Three necklaces in sterling silver, entirely hand-crafted starting from the grains of silver and inspired by the simple and minimal interlacing spokes of a bicycle. The purity of the lines, the precision in the shapes, the ratios and precious details – three small and elegant sculptures to wear in everyday life.Stay shiny, stay chic!

«Le col le plus difficile était le Col de La Madone, qui surplombait la ville et était réputé pour ses douze kilomètres particulièrement raides. La Madone, trop pénible pour être tentée tous les jours, était parfaite pour tester sa condition. La plupart des coureurs la faisaient une ou deux fois par saison. Je l’ai faite une fois par mois». al giro

It’s always a great pleasure and a great honour to be source of inspiration for famous designers and prestigious brands. The Giro d’Italia is one of the three most important stage races on the world cycling calendar. This year, the 104th edition will start on 8 May and finish on 30 May in Milano. We are really honoured to have been a source of inspiration for the new kit of procycling team EF Education-Nippo.The original kaleidoscopic design was created by Max at typeklang for the Zürich Bike Festival in 2018 and was dedicated to the two new collections équipe and mondiale presented in anteprima at the show. It is still used for all the posters, flyers, stickers and visit cards at superleggero.

aspen’86

The new silk carré aspen’86 is my personal tribute to the Coors Classic, a race held in North America between 1975 and 1988.The race was considered the fourth biggest stage race on the world cycling calendar after the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and Vuelta. From a 3-day of racing in Colorado in the first years, the race grew to 2 weeks with stages across Nevada, Colorado, California, many of them criterium races or time trials like the time-trial hill climb up to San Francisco’s famous Telegraph Hill.
